I do. The score was ugly, but we dominated Auburn today while other top teams couldn't close the deal.

And Notre Dame looking like absolute world beaters... That win in South Bend was crazy impressive.

That being said, I would not be surprised if the pollsters have Ole Miss jump us. OU got a ton of credit for beating Auburn at home... Likely we don't get the same love

Regardless of opinions... If Georgia loses, the reality is we are no worse than 6th.

IMO we should be 5 and Ole Miss should be 6.

Not sure how it shakes out after that. Will be interesting to see how far they drop these top 10 teams that lost their 1st game today. Not sure if undefeated teams like Tech will get the love and move into the top 10.

Ranking doesn't mean anything at this point. I'd rather fly under the radar for a bit. That being said, OU got tons of love after beating Auburn with home cooking refs, 303 - 287 yards. Compare that to us getting jobbed with 5 holding calls and going 414 - 177 yards. Defense was balls out.

Seems like everyone gushed about OUs defense after holding AU to 17 points. And OU jumped us.

Holding ND to 33 points doesn't seem so bad now.

It's because Oregon doesn't ever wear the same uniform twice. Hard to prep for that.

I don't really care where we're ranked until November. But at this point, there are not 6 teams in the country that we wouldn't have a very good chance to beat. I don't have a problem with it if we do end up in the top 6.

Without the penalties and a couple mistakes, today's game could have easily been a 4 score margin win. A&M is pretty good. The only rankings that matter are the ones in December and January. Keep getting better, avoid injuries, and keep winning.

There were some questionable penalties.

We did finish 207 rush 207 pass yards. 414 total against Auburn's 177 total yards

Ole Miss will jump us. If Alabama beats Georgia they will jump at the opportunity to move them way up.
Georgia in that scenario won't fall much. Neither will Penn State or Oregon.
We could actually drop 1 spot.

I will say that I 100% believe that rankings matter right now. We want to be ranked as high as possible.

This does not appear to be a team that win go undefeated... And when that loss happens, I want us to be ranked so high that we will still be a top 10 team even after losing.

Auburn was first... Need to win the next 2 and go 3-0 in this home stand. If we can do that we are 6-0 and very likely top 3. That's how we make sure we don't get screwed if/when we drop a game.
