I'd like to know what Bisontis was thinking when he decided to square up w/ the referee.

I have seen a bunch of comments and internet experts criticize that call as if it was close. I just went back and watched the replay.
He was past five yards downfield from the line of scrimmage. The ball was snapped right about the 21 and a half yard line and he was closer to the 16 than the 17 when Reed threw the pass. So he was over two yards past where he was allowed to be.
It really wasnt a close call. Im surprised so many people on here are criticizing that. But whatever.
Edit to add. That's a bad title. He was two full yards passed where he was supposed to be.

I don't have any... I listened on the Aggie Radio Network.
I did find WoodlandsAggie YT channel had the game posted.
so, would be easy to find. it was kinda late 4th qtr if I'm not mistaken.
If you watch the no huddle version (I did), it's edited out

You keep saying its called every time. It's not called every time, especially when the offender is not effecting the play or even in the general area where the ball is thrown. I agree that by definition it was a penalty, people are just upset by what seems to be targeted calls against us.

You just dont see it called and there was clearly timing to calls

It is called almost three times a game in the NFL. Slightly less probably in college. But it is called all of the time when you are five yards down field.

I don't know how often that gets called but makes me mad at our lineman for wondering so far off the line of scrimmage when he wasn't even involved in the play.
