This is the difference in SEC defenses and what we have already played. Notre Dame is equivalent to a bottom of the SEC defense. Reed had all day and was able to see wide open spaces with receivers. Now the windows are much tighter. He had Craver breaking open but hesitated a half second too long. Arnold is having the same issues. It is these half seconds that make the difference.


There is no excuse for our ineptness on offense. And, similarly, there is no excuse for the way Reed is playing today.
