What's up with the commentators being so mad at Clemson? Just call the game and give credit to Syracuse.

Bad loss for Clemson at home.

They look ugly, but wish we'd had their run. Ngl about that.

There is absolutely no linear lines or correlation in CFB. None whatsoever.

While true Clemson is not as good as their pre-season ranking, this has no impact or affect on lsu.

Especially when we have to play at Red Stick.

Though this is more evidence there should not be any rankings until 10/1 IMHO.

Isn't Dabo one that hasn't really embraced the NIL and transfer portal reality/opportunity of todays' game? Maybe his issue is being slow to adapt to new realities.

LSU was not impressive against a team that has now lost to Georgia Tech and Syracuse.

I partially agree. The whole "LSU is the best team in the SEC" designation, along with their ranking and hype, is due to their win against Clemson. In my opinion, LSU doesn't pass the eye test. That's why I said I feel better about that game. While we may agree that the rankings prior to November are irrelevant, the people selecting the playoff teams put a lot of weight on said rankings. That's why I referenced the Clemson game. It matters whether you agree or not.

Oklahoma looks legit especially that defense

Their offense was not especially impressive and Jackson Arnold is such a slow decision maker. Can't even process fast enough to throw the ball away when he's about to be sacked.

As much as I wish Dabo could win win with those principles, it just doesn't seem possible. Imagine if we just let Noah Thomas leave, but didn't bring in Concepcion and Craver.

Clemson also had staff turnover. Been 2-3 seasons under new offense and defense coordinators, so the new ones must not be as good.

Soooo how much we going to offer dabo? 150mil?

Do we need a gong thread for former top 25 programs that will be missing the playoffs?
