Dude, look at ATM's record over the last 20 years. Now look at how much coverage they actually get. I'd argue that ATM gets MORE coverage than they deserve with a yearly 8-4.

If ATM starts winning big time matchups (like, not an upset… I mean big prime time games, week in and week out) the hype train from ESPN will pull into station.

Dude, look at ATM's record over the last 20 years. Now look at how much coverage they actually get. I'd argue that ATM gets MORE coverage than they deserve with a yearly 8-4.

I agree that if we start winning more we'll get more coverage, but to think it'll still be positive or even-handed coverage assumes that media is not biased. IOW, ey'll still be rooting for us to lose and embarrass ourselves. They'll still focus on stupid things (e.g. Notre Dame place holder instead of our Tight End hero) rather than highlighting our accomplishments.
