Good Q, Ebbets Field is about preserving the history of sport so they remake old hats, jerseys etc. My guess has to do with materials and licensing. On top of they are a single location business. I really like their hats but recently their prices have sky rocketed. I used to buy their hats when they were $30 or less now they are $55 at least
