I really like yhe 1983 uniforms! Not just because they wore them while I was there, I like the striped pants.

Look at that emblem to the right, they did not wear that in the 86 Cotton Bowl. That's the helmet side emblem from the 60's and 70's. I think around the 80's they changed to the block ATM on the sides.

So, the way I see this is that that curtain or tarp is hiding something behind it and will reveal once it's pulled back. Are we sure it's definitely uniform related and not something to do with Kyle Field? I apologize if this is a dumb take.

Those were great uniforms.

Auburn game is too close. State is blackout. USC is Maroon Out. So these will be worn for FL or Samford I guess?

Though I guess it could be Maroon Out. Will def want a shirt with that old school aTm logo!

totally agree. Honestly, I think these should be our standard uniform. Classic & simple. Save the one off uniforms for truly special cases, not because we have to have 2-3 random one off uniforms each year.

Bring back those huge shoulder pads and neck rolls too!!

I feel like lots of uniforms in the 80's had stripes. For some reason stripes were big back then.

not sure why we would be celebrating the '67 team (great as it was, and I WAS there!) i mean 58th anniversary?

What I wish is that A&M would recapture the "Fightin' Texas Aggie" moniker.
