…did we suffer like eight pre-snap penalties per game???

Seriously…why???

The common denominator is Jimbo...always good for multiple delay of games no matter who the QB was.

I seem to remember it not mattering who was QB, we still had tons of pre-snap penalties.

Jimbo waited until there were 15 seconds or less to get the play in. That's the issue

No one ever understood Jimbo's offense. They all stared at the sideline for 39.75 seconds before getting set. It was the Era of the TGI Fridays playbook.

You can ask a lot of "why" questions about the Fisher era. The answer is almost always "Jimbo".

Should we hire Jimbo and fire him again???

It was so grating to watch Mond have to take multiple timeouts in the first quarter because we didn't get a play in in time. Never got better.

Could have given Jimbo a Waffle House Menu and he'd still wait until 7 seconds left on the play clock before making the play call.

He can take all the time he wants with the Waffle House menu. At the end of the day, he's a fool if he orders anything but the All-Star Special.

Jimbo was/is a fraud. Look at how many quarterbacks we went through while he was here. How many were hurt. He wasn't good.

I blame Steve Adazzio soooo much for a lot of our woes, and jimbo for hiring him

Both Conner Weigman and Haynes King are 3-0 and 1-0 in conference play, and they both beat Colorado.

I remember a time when we had to take an offensive time out IMMEDIATELY after coming out of a preceding time out (can't remember if it was a network break or another offensive time out we had just taken). Couldn't even get one play run without burning another TO...

And neither now play in the SEC.

Because Jimbo Fisher was insanely disorganized. He also put way to much pressure on QBs.

The worst!

This always gets me…how the heck did he win a NC and Heisman with Jamis Winston?!

You are asking the wrong question. How did Jameis win a championship despite playing for Jimbo?

He was the only good team in the conf.

Only had to win a couple of tough games including the MNC game. Obviously is was indeed mythical.

We had an inordinate number of delay of game penalties following the change of possession on punts and kickoffs. It was kind of amazing.

Hell, I seem to remember one that occurred on the first play coming out of the end of a quarter. Might be what you were thinking of. Course it also could of been another time altogether. There were a lot of them.

My theory is that Jameis was their JFF - there was an offense but only if a generational quarterback bothered to pay attention to it.
