OP, I do believe the AP poll you're seeing is still last week. They won't release the poll until after all the week 1 games are completed since it's a long weekend with last night's game between TCU and UNC.

You didn't hear? New rule.
When the horns lose, no wins or losses are counted for any team that particular week. That way the media can say they were finally right after all these years about the preseason hype for the Heisman winner, National Champion and unanimous Preseason #1 ranking.

I would put LSU #1 based on performance but OSU at 1 would be fine. The rest who cares at this point.

This is where I'm at with it too. LSU had the most complete looking game this weekend.

If t.u. was truly #1 (and I don't think they were because of questions i had with Manning AND Sark...) then I think they should fall to #5 or so and no further. Their D was stout and they came within inches of a tie on road vs. maybe the best team in country.

I do believe that they lose at least 2 SEC games, and more would not surprise.
