It's because Homer Norton doesn't have a statue or name on anything. Our school has wrongfully passed over honoring him receiving proper recognition for winning a national championship.

I was absolutely relieved when they hired Elko instead of Stoops. That said, leading up to the hiring, I was one of the very few posters defending Traylor as an option, whereas the majority of bumble****s on this site couldn't see past conference USA (or wherever it's was playing two years ago) and Frank Harris.

Traylor will end up the next Tech (or the like) coach, and he'll kill it.

Should start sacrificing live animals at Kyle to try to appease the angry gods…

Elko was a discount hire and the best we could get, but honestly we've tried all the other ways too. Splash hire from a blue blood (twice), NFL guy, hot up and comer from a smaller school. And the results have been the same. So who ****ing knows.

I just read abiut their program he built, and the stabiiity of his staff. i liked the Elko hire, but we definitely missed on Traylor.

Why would you hire the coach of a team you just whipped? Drunk posting? Trolling? Just re tar ded?

I see this said a lot, it's not true. Every hire Texas A&M has made had red flags that were ignored. The last coaching search was really bad and we settled.

Texas A&M doesn't do coaching searches well and has made repeated bad hires.

if you are correct, i would argue you just identified a "something bigger than that" but for arguments sake, who was a better hire available than jimbo at the time. bama ran a quality search and i'd guess deboer's days are numbered. and who had more red flags than sark. he'd be back in the bottle by now if we had hired him..
