Sonic is an Oklahoma based company. At least it used to be.
Wonder if they're doing this for the Okie schools too?

They're owned by Inspire Brands now. My guess is they know the Texas market will move the needle the most of any state WRT to Sonic so they chose a couple players from tu and A&M and it wasn't much more thought out than that.

I also wouldn't be surprised if it turned out all the guys in the video have the same representation, though I don't follow any of that stuff.

Sonic closed down their OKC headquartres in 2018 when they were bought by Inspire (in Atlanta). They have a brand office in OKC, but most corporate functions were moved.

Oklahoma Baptists now occupy their building in Bricktown.

Some of the delivery girls still do it. Most just choose not to.

I hate to break the news… any college athlete could have worked as an actor for the last several decades under NCAA rules.

Great show. Andre Braugher as the precinct captain is one of the best comedic performances in TV history.

I love when guys get to have a little fun in their NIL deals, this shoot seems like it was a blast to film.
