The toughest QB we will face will the the guy from SC, who is basically Marcel's talent on a frame like a tight end. See last year's game.

It is not a matter of if we will win the game. WE will Win...
But will our secondary be able to show vast improvement over 2024 results:
Communicate with one another - Cover 1-on-1 - Confuse the QB on our coverage tactics
OR
Will QB Owen McCowen - Expose weaknesses in our secondary - Coverage Issues - Etc.
This is my concern -
What are we showing the Notre Dame Offensive Coordinator...

I predict an underwhelming win. This board (including me) will be in a meltdown.

So we are worried about a quarterback with a completion percentage in the low 60s, on a team that went 0-6 last year on the road, with ahead coach whose record has gotten worse every year he's been at the school?

Tahj Ra-El Memphis Corner Back leaked their playbook to the opposing team QB, Owen McCown of UTSA. If we have any problems with UTSA or this McCown kid, our 8-4 season is going to be in jeopardy.

While this is undoubtedly true, if Randy McCown blood runs thru his veins, he is hungry and will find ways to make you eat these words.

Well historically neither are we unless you think 7-8 win seasons are considered good. We usually play down to the level of lesser teams and allow games to be much closer than they should have been. Given the epic collapse of Elko and team last year I see no reason to think differently this year or at least until they give us reason to.

UTSA is about as "good" as Bowling Green, Arkansas, and Miss St.. TAMU stuggled with all three of these scrubs last season.
UTSA will have a more potent offense this year. Do your research.

Definitely not "stocked on both sides of the ball". Lol. Starting with QB.northeastag said:
Quite a difference this year than in the past. Historically, this would be about the time that peak optimism begins to show. Aggies everywhere, old and young, have convinced themselves that THIS is the year. We're stocked on both sides of the ball. We can't see the weaknesses that are right in front of our faces. We may not win a natty, be we will certainly be in the last game.
This year, subdued expectations for 8-4.
BAS has finally taken its toll.

Oh, A&M should win this game. Don't get me wrong. However, if we learned anything from Elko last season is that his teams don't get up for inferior opposition.
UTSA can score a bunch of pts, combined with A&M looking ahead points to a close, high-scoring gane.

Their OFEI was 102 last year. That's out of 134 teams. They are not good offensively.
For reference Bowling Green was 76 and New Mexico State was 129, our two worst offenses we faced.
