Which experience as a fan has been the absolute worst for y'all when y'all go to Aggie football games?

I'll start. LSU back in the JFF years. That was my welcoming moment to that garbage and insufferable fanbase. Hence why I haven't been to a game in BR in over a decade.

The stupid "Johnny Who?" Chants that they started were annoying as hell. Along with their classless "Suck that tiger d beyotch".

Add in when they stole $ from a children's hospital just to make their athletics good again, and that just doesn't sit well with me. People lives matter more than sports programs.

I hate LSU more than anyone. What about y'all?

Louisiana is a first class ****hole. The entire state is pretty much a sweaty ballsack.

That said, I went to Lubbock twice, and **** that place.

LSU did not "steal money from a children's hospital to make their athletics good again".
The CEO of a local hospital was sent to prison for paying 1 player's father for a no-show job.

In recent memory it was the 2021 game vs Colorado played at Mile High. Full beer cans being thrown and the amount of fights instigated by CU students was off the charts. Never will do a CU away game again. No thanks.

So you're offering to let LSU move into your head rent free???

I was shocked at what a-holes the Colorado fans were, they were so bad.

LSU fans in the Manziel years were bad. I remembered tailgating for the Cotton Bowl in 2011 (2010 season) when we got killed by LSU, and I remember thinking they weren't that bad, but then when they came to College Station, I thought they were pretty awful.

Tech fans gonna Tech though. I remember sitting in the Red Raider club with my parents in 2009 when we actually won in Lubbock (rare feat back then), and we scored, I Whooped, and I had a 70+ year old man tell me to sit down and STFU. My dad then yelled at the old man, rare moment of Raider on Raider conflict. Overall, they were probably my least favorite Big 12 fanbase.

I do have a story from my dad when they went up to Norman to watch the Tech/OU game after the Crabtree catch, he said they were the worst fans he had encountered. I've never made the trip to Norman, but I never found OU fans to be much of a concern, and anything they had to say, their team usually backed it up.

TL;DR - CU, LSU, TTU, OU all not great.

I'm an Aggie who grew up in/near Lubbock (and from a family of Aggies; I was the 8th person in my close family to go to A&M) and can confirm it's always been miserable. I would wear my A&M jersey to grade school and have my teachers make mean remarks about it. Other students called me "Aggie F*ggie." We went to a few basketball games when we played Tech here, and the fans were so hateful to my sister and me, who were still in elementary at the time, that my grandparents (who are Raiders themselves) made us leave. They were appalled. My dad never brought us to "The Jones" (which is reminiscent of an HS stadium) for games when we played Tech either. He was worried something would happen. Nothing was better for me than us going to the SEC. At least I didn't have to endure the part of the harassment where we lost to tech anymore.

I was going to say historically Tech fans were my nemesis as well

I've been to LSU, Bama, Auburn, Cowbell, Ole Piss, sips (for a different game), Tennessee, and Georgia. Best fans I've encountered were the Auburn fans.

And LSU did more than just "Johnny Who" for me. I can't recall everything from that night, but I'll just say they talked so much ****. The most **** I've ever been talked.

A near second worst is Miami a couple years ago. Those fans were scumbags saying "take your azz back to trailer trash Texas where you belong". Cheering for injured A&M players and what not

Was in the FTAB, Ole Piss students kept calling us Nazis when we went there in Alphas and would give us the one finger salute whenever we played.

LSU fans were rude outside of the stadium but were fine inside, I guess the trailer trash don't pay for a ticket. Supposedly they used to try to cut up senior boots with razorblades but I think that might be a myth.

Bama fans were nice enough, one dude tried to shake my hand at the urinal since he thought I was military.

Auburn fans are easily the nicest in my experience.

Student behavior can be suspect at most stadiums. It's the ****-faced, foul mouthed adults in Louisiana that are the worst! Nothing says we love our team more than a 300lb, coonass grandma singing, "Suck that tight dic$, B!+?#!"

Over all specific thing that took place.

Goal Post incident.

If you know. You know.

Overall fan base. Ohio State fans were the worst. Easily.

I'll second that. The "adult" cu fans downtown were all apologizing and said they had the worst student population in the country. They were awful and a group of complete pusses.

Outside of obligatory sips are the worst people - I've had the unfortunate experience to sit amongst Arkansas fans at Jerryworld. They are the worst fans I've ever experienced during a game. Absolute trash fans and morons on top of that.

Tech is probably the worst outside of gameday experience - just delusional people.

Surprisingly, I enjoy most LSU people I interact with, and the one time I've been to Death Valley it was cold and rainy and they were checked out, so I imagine I got off light. But on the way to the parking lot, I had maybe the best bowl of gumbo I've ever had from some folks at a tailgate.

Tossup between tOSU and tu. Neither interaction was a good experience.

I've not been to an lsu game, but I would know what I'm walking into there at least and be expecting it.

Colorado probably takes the cake.

Miami fans were good to me. I did see some uber trashy types, with blowup dolls, shooting the middle finger when posing for pics. But my personal experience was not bad.

LSU 2021 was rough for us especially after they took the lead to win it in the last minute. We got out of there so fast

The other 3 times I've been there (2015, 2017 and 2019) the fans were fine minus the occasional tiger bait. But for some reason 2021 they were rough.

I left just a minute or so after the pick for that very reason

I had the good fortune of being a fish the one year we lost to Arky at Jerryworld (2021). The last thing you want to hear after the Corps forcing you to drive 3 hours one way without giving you any money to compensate you for crazy parking or gas just to watch your team lose is a drunk Arkansas fan calling you a Boy Scout. As a zip last season some of my buddies heckled them pretty mercilessly, taste of their own medicine. Ran off as soon as the game was lost, too.

LSU is the only time I can remember fights between fans on Kyle Field after a home game. Then there is the famous Texas Tech incident in Lubbock. Those have to be the top two by a long shot.

I had a kid get in my face after a horn loss and shout poor Aggies while his dad laughed. Pretty tame all things considered. I considered it t-sip training. That 10yo is probably a full grown adult a**hole by now. But in general horns will run for the exits when they lose (or win).

Was on the field in Lubbock for the goal post incident, so that remains a special memory. Baylor fans were always awful too. Had a great time in Baton Rouge.

Ohio State at the Sugar Bowl, their fans were awful. I have only been to a handful of away games - OU in 97, MSU in 2012, Rice in 85, SMU in 86, all victories for the Ags - but I think I have only witnessed one A&M bowl victory ( Texas Bowl against Northwestern). It was probably too cold for the UGA fans to cause problems in the 2009 Indy Bowl. A couple of years ago at the The as Bowl was one of my most miserable experiences, but not because of Poke behavior. My aisle seat was within arm's reach of their band. They were loud, fairly obnoxious, and wouldn't shut up since they had a good game.

You're griping about parking and gas money for Corps trips? JFC.
Back in the SWC days we drove all over the state to march-ins and we freaking loved it. Those are some of the best memories.
Dallas, Houston, Ft. Worth, Austin, Waco. Thankfully no Lubbock!!
No gas or parking money was never even a thought in our minds!!

I was up in Columbus for work in 2005 and went to the Texas-Ohio State game. OSU fans were downright awful. Full drinks and ice cubes were thrown on Texas fans during the game. I was in neutral colors and avoided the hate.

I went down to High St after the game and saw what looked to be a 10 year old girl on the street at 1am throwing double birds with drunk, what I assume to be parents. Trash cans were on fire and there were bouncers not letting Texas fans into bars because they couldn't guarantee their safety.

After OSU it has to be Texas Tech. I recall them throwing things at multiple different teams from the student section.

Never had problem with LSU or OU but I've never been to a game in Baton Rouge or Norman.

Playing in Death Valley sucks, that stadium is tough to win in, but if you know anyone at a tailgate the food and vibes are A+.

I went to the game vs Baylor in Waco back in the 00s and there was nothing redeeming about the experience aside from a win.

Having been to a game at Ohio Stadium I'd say they're the worst fans I've come across. I was just there to see a game between two teams and I didn't care who won. Well by the time Ohio State lost to USC I was happy just because of how their fans acted before, during, and after the game. They were just awful win or lose. Location of the game doesn't matter either. I was in Austin the weekend Ohio State played the horns and their fans in town were so terrible I just hoped they would figure out a way for no one to win that game.

will never again attend an Aggie sporting event there with that insufferable fan base

Ohio State is a very close second. (and that was as a neutral observer)

Colorado fans were going after even our older fans at mile high with perhaps some of the most vile vocabulary that I have ever heard from any fanbase. It is so much worse at games in boulder!

Whoever said LSU was a great fan experience……clearly y'all didn't have the "pleasure" of visiting in the 80s/early 90s and having sh*t thrown at you the whole game and having your car vandalized and crap stolen out of it
But I will agree, the worst overall fan base belongs to Ohio St. most pathetic excuses for human beings I've ever seen.
There seems to be a theme here, schools with a big tshirt/bandwagon following. Hmmm wonder why that is……..
