This is just fake for clicks, but I do imagine how much more deafening it would be if we added 30,000 more fans.

Kyle Field is already Top 5 in the country for most intimidating.

To who?

Cmon the self loathing is weak and old.

Yes, we drop games and make it hard to teach a new generation to fight/yell as redass Ags but when Kyle is rocking it is still easily top 5
It is intimidating to the creampuffs, especially those who have never played at Kyle. Too often, the better teams are able to overcome the intimidation.

They don't have to overcome intimidation. They aren't intimidated to begin with.

It's like watching a series and the main character is killed in episode one.

Best way to lose viewers. (the last of us is an example)
This might be a better overall scope of younger fans, players, NIL, etc.

Compare college football these days to Hollywood:

Actors have contracts, and leave studios all the time based on disagreements with (x).

Studios (colleges) spend tons of money on actors (players), film productions (stadium, training, crootin, training facilities, add ons), and all within the total income and worth of the studio.

So basically college sports has turned into TV/Film contracts. NFL would be different where as they are under contracts with owners. Next thing you will see is college players unionize. Actors already are.

LSU wasn't intimidated?
No. We were getting smoked until we put Reed in half way through the 3rd quarter. LSU neglected to prepare for Reed's game. Had nothing to do with intimidation.

So the 3 interceptions that their supposed "heisman candidate QB" had nothing to do with the intimidation?

No. It didn't. Interceptions happen in every stadium. Without inserting Reed (and LSU being totally unprepared for him), we get smoked (like we were getting for the first 60% of the game before Reed). LSU wasn't intimidated….at all.

When we got on a roll, team came alive, Kyle came alive, and it mattered.
And when a guy like Nick Saban says it matters, then it matters.

But the team has to get some momentum for Kyle to really get going.
It's not about how it feels in the first couple drives, it's about the effects it can have in the 4th quarter.

Ok....then what was your point?
Because Kyle is a very good atmosphere, one of the best in the country, and can absolutely affect the outcome of games.
And yeah, LSU was absolutely affected by it in that 2nd half.
Momentum and game situations matter, relative to crowd effect.

There's not a stadium in the country that's gonna be intimidating at max effect for 4 straight quarters. Especially if the home team is getting prison pumped.

But that doesn't mean Kyle Field isn't (or cant be) intimidating. And it doesn't mean it's not one of the best atmospheres in the country. Because it is.

I sat in the stadium last season and watched both ND and Texas play us totally unaffected by the Kyle Field atmosphere. I also was there for the '85 (I think) Texas game where the crowd was so loud that Texas couldn't hike the ball. Modern offenses (and experienced teams) have adapted and are no longer intimidated by crowds/stadiums. And if you think we beat LSU last season because LSU was intimidated (and not because we finally put Reed in the game), you didn't watch the game.

Kyle Field is a nice stadium and has a somewhat unique atmosphere. It's no longer materially contributing to the outcome of games. Sorry to burst your bubble.

It used to be the one and only of its kind and talked about near and far, but those who wanted to turn it into a night club like every other swinging peen in college football, screwed that up too.
