This. With some posting their predictions with most of the sure losses shown as a 'toss up." The ones I love give a prediction for wins and losses and also have us with a bowl win, despite not knowing who the opponent is.

Seems many are waking to the idea that Aggie athletics fields teams to play games and that includes with the fans minds. Aggie athletics and administration doesn't REALLY WANT to win. They just wanna play some games.

There isn't a single person in the AD administration or school leadership that is serious about winning.

This school has a perpetual "we'll get 'em next time" mentality and it is exhausting.

This year, I don't think so. I think in the last couple of years our fanbase has passed a tipping point. We have seen other programs making the NIL investment to buy elite players and win championships, and then we see what our program is doing. It is painfully obviously we will not be a top college football program. I have become pretty impervious to the sunshine being pumped by people close to the program, as I think most here have.

I've been here for 18 years. There has never been a complete and utter absence of excitement and confidence in the program before like there is now. We all know better than to drink the koolaid this yea4

The zoo has grown tired of the same ol same ol.

Every year it is the exact same thing of optimism. "We have more experience, the 'insert group here' has improved, recruits/transfers at some position are going to be the best we've seen, coach is changing up 'xyz'" etc etc

I wish I could say I wouldnt fall for it hook, line and sinker but if we somehow come out and beat Notre Dame I know I will just because I want us to finally play halfway as good as we should be

Respectfully FIFY. It started with the nutless forcing out of Jackie Sherrill. Does anybody believe tu would have forced out a Coach that was dominating?

Until people quit paying absurd prices to watch a mediocre (at best) product, nothing will ever change.

This year is likely going to be our year.

8/30 UTSA --- WIN (Few Bugs)

9/6 Utah State --- WIN (closer than some may like, but still early)

9/13 @ Notre Dame7 --- Close WIN. 23-21

9/27 Auburn --- WIN (2-score)

10/4 Mississippi State --- No Cowbells = WIN

10/11 Florida --- at Home ... close WIN

10/18 @ Arkansas --- WIN. Possibly OT.

10/25 @ LSU --- This is the tough one for us. Toss-Up. Leaning towards a W, but time might run out.

11/8 @ Missouri --- WIN charlatans shall be exposed.

11/15 South Carolina --- Payback. WIN

11/22 SamfordTBA --- Tune-Up. 45pt WIN

11/28 @ Texas --- Going to be honest here. Could be an L. But lets see how Klein has this offense

humming by then.

OVERALL --- 11-1 or 10-2

SEC Championship Game - Rematch against TX. W or L doesn't matter. We are in the playoffs either way.

Little luck, few good bounces and we make it to Final 4, and NC Game.

We are the definition of mediocrity and nothing changes because our AD is the Dallas Cowboys of the NCAA: they know they'll still sell a ton of merch and tickets no matter how mediocre we are so why bother trying too hard? The fans will never punish you by not giving you their money so why try?

Everyone knows another 8-5 season is coming and no one is excited.

Somewhere between sunshine pumping and BAS is the place to be. Both are disingenuous. Elko has had one season at this point. The recruiting has been solid, very little portal exodus, and continuity in the coaching are reasons for at least some optimism. Will we go 14 or 15 and 0? Not likely. Should we be better? I say yes. I have always been a believer in incremental gains. Hold what you have, improve in all areas, but especially where the deficiencies are. Continuous improvement is key.

Jackie Sherrill was the last organized coach search as well. After that it has always been a fast and effortless project with predictable results.

6-6 or 7-5.

Florida will be better. USCe, ND, t.u., and LSU are losses. Have to beat Arkansas to not go .500 and hope Auburn isn't instantly improved to make that happen.
