Texas was not in the championship game.. and since when is 28-14 a blow out? We all wish we had made it that far...sometime in our lifetime

as for Miami, their QB doesn't play defense...they lost to Ranked Syracuse 42-38

All of the OP's points are valid of the shenanigans those schools have pulled, but it right, they've also won big in a Big 3 sport, some in multiple sports, in recent memory. Id take a team of convicts like the 80's Miami teams all day if it meant we'd win like Miami. With the players all mercenaries now anyways, it's not like we have to pretend they are a representation of our values or student body anyways.

Florida St was undefeated because they played a very weak schedule. Then their star QB went down. They were not one of the top 4 teams at the end of the season and proved it when they got completely destroyed by Georgia.

Actually, I take a lot more pride in those programs because they are much more representational of real Aggie athletics. Those ladies are fighting for something together, not fat NIL paychecks.

Nah, we actually need to win something of importance in the big 3 sports.

We have an 86 year streak going here. That has to be some kind of record for a major college football program. I guess we are considered to be a major program. Maybe we should just embrace losing with grace.

The real cure is to quit caring actually.

Or find other hobbies.

The cure for envy or BAS is to get a life, care about other things, and remember that these are kids playing games. It's great for entertainment, but a silly thing to find your identity in or to let affect your life that much.
