The NFL doesn't do "Spring or Exhibition Games" anymore. No pro Bowl.

If it's not a money maker, it's not done.

It's a free game that gives me, my son, and my dad an excuse to get to College Station and spend some quality time without worrying about parking, leaving the game early (especially with a 6 year old) or large crowds. You get generally good seating, and if it lines up right, you can go see some baseball.

I look forward to it every year.

Only way I would ever go would be it just happens to line up with baseball. I could care less about it.

We play Samford in the regular season next year. The spring game is kinda like that but it's something resembling ffootball when there is nothing else on.

Could or couldn't?

I am sure the coaches worry about injuries. Practice is controlled. In a spring game you have guys trying to make an impression so they are going hard. Then you have the guys who are pretty much penciled in as a starter that are pretty much thinking "don't get hurt" if they even play at all. I enjoy going to spring practices. Watching different coaching points etc. I enjoy going to the spring game as well. But going to the spring game is more about being back at Kyle Field and getting some football to carry me over until the season. The game is not "exciting" like a regular season game but at least it is football. But I am ok with the coaches canceling. I always worry about guys getting hurt in a meaningless game so I get it.
