as a kid who grew up playing corner aaron glenn was always my favorite. dude played way way above his size. i expect the same from his teams.

Dysfunctional organization with no QB prospects is not a great recipe for success. As bad as the Cowboys are, and they are really bad, Dak is better than anything the Jets will roll out at QB in the next 3 years

He was an absolutely terrific athlete. I recall reading a story about his first practice at A&M after he transferred in from JUCO. He moved to first team after 30 minutes. Blew everyone away.

So happy for AG and sad for DC! That's what happens when you build a kick ass organization like Dan has in Detroit....IN DETROIT! If Dan can do that with that organization, AG should be able to do it in NY.

Here's to hoping that both of them fill their coaching ranks with Aggies! Whoop!

The Glenn family was very athletic. If you remember, his younger brother Jason played LB for the Ags after Aaron.

Years ago I took my 10 yr old daughter to an A&M game at Kyle field. I didn't have tickets so I tried my luck at the North end zone ticket office about 3 hrs before the game. Apparently a football player had turned his tickets in to be resold and the tickets I bought were in the football players parents section.

Our tickets happened to be next to Aaron Glenn's dad. He was quiet but friendly. What I thought was interesting was that none of the football player parents got excited during the game, maybe because they were just use to their kids playing for so many years. I remember Jason Glenn getting a huge sack in the game, and the crowd went wild. I looked over to Mr Glenn to see his reaction. He stayed calm and just cracked a little smile on his face.

It could be different now with parents at games, but that's what I remembered then.

Anyway, congrats to Aaron Glenn!

I played with Aaron in high school. Well, not much because my senior year he was a sophomore and had just been pulled up to varsity, so strangely he didn't play that much.

I remember the first time I looked over and saw him in practice lining up at WR during passing drills.

I thought to myself,"what's this little sophomore kid doing up here?"

Anyway, I was supposed to execute a deep roll to the left side of the field while he was running a go route.

I s*** you not, by the time I turned my shoulders toward the line of scrimmage, he was already 40 yards downfield.

Got the answer to my question pretty quickly that day.

And that was the first day I heard the name Aaron Glenn.
