Glad to see him get an HC role....but I'd think he'd have several choices this year or next. The Jets are an absolute CF of an organization. Ownership is a mess and being set up for young, meddling kids to be involved...and then you've got to deal with aaron Rogers.
That's disappointing. Obviously the only teams hiring are generally teams that haven't been good, but going to the jets is just setting yourself up for failure. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong, many said the same thing when Dan Campbell went to Detroit and look what he's done, but I would think there will be much better jobs available.
Congratulations to coach! He knows what he's getting into.

If Dennis Allen could have hung on a bit longer with the Saints, there would be 3 out of 32 NFL franchises with Former Students as head coach. That would have been pretty amazing. 2 out of 32 ain't bad.

I think the GM hire will be key....it's no longer a 1 man show. He'll need a lights out OC.

well deserved hire so congrats coach glenn.
to anyone with a concern of taking over a floundering franchise remember he has been part of the blue print for detroit's epic turn around. he has a blueprint for what it will take and i have no doubts he will succeed if he gets enough time.

I think he knows some of the history of the Jets.
The Jets are a crapshow, to be sure. They make the Cowboys look like a well run franchise.
Not sure that Rogers will even be with the team next year. If he is, Glenn would be wise to make sure he knows who the coach is on the very first day.
