I know this has been brought up over and over again, but the last 3 Ags I saw during the starting lineup introductions named their HS. Every other player named their college. Why are so many former Aggie players so reluctant to associate themselves with Texas A&M?

Granted I haven't seen all introductions over the last couple of weekends, but every Aggie I did see, named their HS

They're not. It's in your head. Players from all schools do it. You just notice it when it's an Aggie plus it looks like just plain bad timing/coincidence with regard to your experience.

Our fanbase is so insecure.

Well the notable ones...Mike Evans wants Galveston to get some rec.

Tannehill (when playing) hates how we did Mike Sherman.

Sumlin 's players never saw him as he drank the stress away.

Who is doing it? They aren't obligated to mention us.

It's a thing- Ag players disproportionately don't shout out A&M in intros. Anyone denying it doesn't watch the NFL.
It's a bad look. Some idea why (Jimbo years, etc.), but it is certainly real. Elko needs to make some calls.

Win games and do something for them to be proud of and watch their tune change. Keep plumping out clown seasons the homers and pumpers eat up and continue to have former players be embarrassed to be associated with the programs. Seems simple enough.
