Campbell won't ever be a legit option.

Aaron Glen has done a phenomenal job considering the number of injuries that defense has endured. His stick isn't plummeting. Only someone with no clue would say that.
Cowboys lose one player and fold until he comes back.

The Lions will struggle next year. They likely lose both coordinators. And Goff will continue to decline.

I never said that. I'm well aware that Elko aced the midterm, but bombed the final this past season.

Sorry I will try again, coaches in the NFL almost always get fired and almost never last more than 10 years in a job because
1 ) they aren't winning enough or
2 ) after awhile winning teams have cap issues and the coach gets fired

Campbell will be looking for his next job in 5-7 years

and it's wrong and foolish to assume A&M's and Johnny's 2012 season would have turned out the same under Sherman

How many guys have they had to rely on that were street free agents at the beginning of the season? This team has been totally decimated by injury where most teams would have totally collapsed. They made it to 15-2. That in itself is amazing. But it's hard to make the full run operating this way. I would take DC any day as a HC.

Oh it's happening, man. In 3 years after we fire elko, we're going to give Campbell a fully guaranteed $120M contract as he's coming off of back to back 6-11 seasons and a firing.

After Dan Campbell started 4-19-1 (3-13-1 in 2021, and 1-6 in first 7 games of 2022) in his first 24 games, he went gone 35-9 (8-2 in last 10 games of 2022, 12-5 in 2023, and 15-2 in 2024) in his last 44 regular season games.

As a 49er fan, I was rooting for Texas A&M alumni Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn and the Lions, but the 15-2 Lions imploded at home because they lost the turnover margin 5 (4 interceptions and 1 fumble) to 0 and allowed 481 (299 passing and 182 passing) total yards and 38 (the other 7 from a pick-6) offensive points. The Lions had a huge rest advantage over the Commanders because they had a first-round bye, and the Commanders were coming off a 23-20 road win against the Buccaneers just 6 days earlier. Unfortunately, the Lions could not overcome several miscues.

I'd 100% take Dan over Elko. Anyone in their right mind would.

Jff had Evans, Swopes, and amazing oline. Jff admitted to skipping qb meeting and being unable to read a playbook. Kks best plays were Jff improvising.

Of course there would be some people on Texags wanting to run off any coach doing poorly his first year just like every other fan base. Saban even had his critics his first year at Bama. We're no better no worse with our expectations. Our athletic department just underperforms more than any other

We would be lucky as hell to get Dan. He is awesome. I don't see it happening in light of his value at the NFL level.
