Considering we did most the year I think it may continue that way.

LB or DB would be nice if they don't all start…

Sarks 2nd & goal from the 1 slow developing toss sweep out of shotgun was one of the worse play calls I saw all year.

May just be agent posturing. But we will definitely be looking to add another wr this spring regardless

I also follow Penn State football. Met my wife there and got my graduate degree there. (Don't worry A&M still my favorite and got my undergrad at A&M)

Wallace was the most frustrating player to watch. Has talent but too often would not fight for the ball. And in big games forget about it. Go look at how many catches he had against ND while playing a bunch of snaps in the playoffs (big fat 0).

He can improve but he was not good this past year.

How many times was he targeted? Need to know that to understand the 0 catches he had.

There weren't any receivers from penn state with a catch against ND.

Beat me to it. At one point, 100% of the receptions in that game by PSU were by a TE. Not sure how it ended up, but nobody WR did anything.

If he grows a little more he could be the next Mike Evans

Surely with our long history of wide receiver development this is a no-brainer for this kid…

He looks to be very consistent with 3 catches and about 50 yards a game when I looked at his game stats. He may not be an elite WR1 but he will easily replace Noah and add much need experience.

That would be a massive pick up

He would have been our top WR this past year.

I think I'll trust the guy who has put multiple first round draft picks in the NFL to assess talent and get high quality talent here over TexAgs experts.

Not sure which expert you are speaking of? And also not sure why you would even be on here reading posts on an Aggie forum and then complaining about opinions on here

Maybe you should stick with Sports Illustrated. I hear there are lots of good experts on there. Maybe can you learn something from that publication..

We need the depth but this guy needs the desire to win. Not saying he can't get there but he was frustrating to watch in 2024.

Maybe you should trust some opinions on here.

I see a previous post from you that you predicted who would win in the playoffs...

"Clemson - cause I hate TU but also Texas struggles against a QB that doesn't get rattled

Tennessee- Ohio St is overrated yet again. Can't stop the run."

OUCH, you could have consulted me. Go look at the post I started where I said OSU would win it all. And to be clear I hate OSU!

Statistically speaking he would have been our #1 WR this past season. He may not be living up to his talent but he would still be an upgrade over what we had. As I said before he looks to be very consistent with his catches and yards.

Cool, I was wrong on my picks. Good call on OSU.

I still trust Wiggins ability to judge talent over posters here. All I'm saying.

He was the #1 WR at PSU, a team that made the semis and I think should have beat ND.

But if he was really good PSU would have done all they could to keep him.

He can be much better. Hope if he come here he puts it all together.

I know he was but you're acting like he won't be an improvement on what we had. At worst he would be on par with Noah which would be a huge plus.

You are acting like it is impossible to get anyone else?

I watched both play this year and Noah is a better receiver and better potential than Wallace, IMO.

You can point to stats or whatever but fact is Allar was a pretty good Qb during regular season (awful in their last) game). Noah would have been a #1 WR at PSU in 2024 and at least put up similar stats or better than Wallace did.

I never said he's the best WR and I never said we cant get better. I think he would be our 3rd best pick up at WR this offseason but he's a proven experienced WR that we desperately need.

You said at least on par with Noah and I don't agree with that (and I was not a Huge Noah guy). We do need the depth so not arguing about that.

I just would prefer another WR to get excited about. I just don't think Wallace has the desire to win.

I mean go look at some of the comments from PSU fans. Many are happy Wallace is leaving. I think much harsher good riddance reaction than what was on here about Noah leaving.

You all are wasting your bandwidth with this argument, so let it go. Every staff is going to recruit those athletes that 1) will make the team better and 2) they can get/afford. Debating where the player would rank or what stats they might have is academic and pointless. Unless you own some massive AI algorithm that will predict the future. Then you'd get hired by ESPN.

How do you know PSU didn't try hard to keep him. That's like saying Noah didn't stay because A&M didn't want him bad enough. Of course, we wanted him, but he decided he was better elsewhere. Maybe Wallace was frustrated that he WR's were not thrown to at all last game and decided to leave.

Your main complaint seems to be he was inconsistent and didn't fight for the ball. I don't know him how you can think Noah doesn't fall squarely in that bucket. They appear to be in the same category. Someone that will be a good 2nd or 3rd option.

To be fair, Penn State only had 12 total receptions for 135 yards in that game.

Wallace's had 46 receptions for 720 yards this year and 4 TD.

Which A&M receiver had more than Wallace's this year?

NONE.

Thomas had 574
Barber 381
Walker 345
