Correct me if I'm wrong but not 1 of Elko's first signing class has entered the portal? Many of which didn't even have playing time.

I'd take that as a very positive sign.

I don't think we lost anyone frim that class either and it's definitely not a negative. Just not sure how much of a positive it really is.

You got my point. Not every kid that has to sit and develop is going to always hit the portal. Depends on the character.

Or we paid too much.

Edit to add: On a more serious note, it will be more telling after spring practice when that class sees where they shake out on the depth chart. You will probably see some leave if they get passed by 2025's and transfers if they think they can find a better opportunity elsewhere.

Every long-term successful program takes time to build. So we have to be patient. A few years.
No guarantees, we may give it time but can still fail.

I think Elko is a good coach and we had a good year for Year 1. We did collapse in Nov but I think that will be fixed in time.

I am firmly on the Elkomobile.
