I don't think so just remember thinking how dumb the one thing he excels out and you go right at him. I think as soon as he saw Ewers turn to toss he took off. Whatever side he is on go to the other if your running wide. Can't let him make that play.

Sip sucks without their DC. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get poached.

The other thing. Blue is their speed RB. He should be the RB on that type of run play instead of Weisner.

That second down play call as I stated on another thread was as bad as the Seahawks bad play call in the Super Bowl. Both calls basically cost them a shot at winning the game in obvious situations where another play should have been called.

And Ags, please if you don't understand that the Super Bowl and a semifinal game is a lot different than a regular season game. I'm not sure what to tell you.

I said last night the game was over when the buckeyes scored that late first half td to lead at halftime. The sips were a terrible second half team this year offensively.

He went 5-7 in year one in Austin against the Big12.

The problem with A&M was not offense, it was a defense that could fill gaps, tackle, play zone, or man.

I am enamored with misdirection, motion, playing to strengths, hiding weaknesses, doing the unexpected, taking shots…all the things people tell me football offenses are capable of doing.

That's correct. They have speed and protect to give qb and routes time to develop. Most yardage on check downs and screens with vertical routes that clear the field creating lots of open space. When pressure gets there not so much just like any other. When can't consistently run ball and stay ahead of chains very pedestrian offense as well. There's no secret to it. All starts with personnel and they have it and we haven't from the oline and wr group. Jimbo just couldn't convince the right ones to get here. No 1 class etc was just his way of making it look great and hoping to get some to develop or buy time to get the right pieces. He knew the holes. It was clear from the schemes he ran.

His offense won them the ASU and Clemson games. Ohio State just has an elite defense.

Also he turned a 1.0000 rated QB (top 20 recruit ALL TIME) into a guy that probably needs another year before he gets drafted.

I don't really buy the genius play caller thing in general. It's football, not quantum physics

If Fran side is short side, that's often because defenses cheat away from the short side since out of bounds acts like a 12th man

The talent was here for a good four years before Elko got here. Fisher failed to develop his players.

Dark has developed the talent he brought in and he put them in a position to win. Something the shorty and Mensa failed to do

Chip Kelly really better of the two. Kelly will also be the better OC in the championship game as well.

He may not be the best signal caller, but their play design is pretty great. Their receivers seem to get open in wrinkles of the plays, and not just great route running and athletic players.

Now do us in the red zone vs Txas

I think they have some really creative play designs. But they have not been good at sequencing them together consistently this year.

But people can learn. They don't always, but they can.
