Also I have never said these guys will be our savior but they are some of the best in the portal and that is objectively massive considering our needs.
While you may be right that we're improving our team through the portal, our competition is doing the same thing and it's beyond legitimate dispute that we're not improving in a way that gives us reasoned hope of beating, Texas, Bama, ND, Georgia, etc. So it's hard for me to share your effusive enthusiasm when we land a guy who quits the team a week later (Hudson), or caught 11 passes (Wilson) or 17 passes (Craver) at their prior school.
