Here are just two reasons why there are no guarantees for Aggie success when playing the sips.

The two are not mutually exclusive. Sip losing is good for us.

I always hate this argument. Do you think Michigan fans are ambivalent to Ohio state, Auburn to Alabama? USC to Notre Dame.

The acceptance of that program has done more damage for my Fandom than any other single game or event. The way Aggie brass laid over for an easy payday is all I needed, to realize what's really going on with this program

We heard plenty about them….like how bad they were, how their confidence sucked, how their recruiting classes were overrated, how bad they'd be if they were in the SEC, etc.

I never have understood why some Sooners seem to pull for tu in games like this but some reliably do. I got into a text discussion with one about an hour ago . He failed to understand why I wouldn't be pulling for the horns in this game . I gave him three paragraphs worth of explanation. His response… Ok … I get it.

I have another Sooner friend that's more like me. Pretty generally despises them. I think it's close to a 50/50 split with them.

Unfortunately, culturally being an Aggie means hating Texas first.

I have an old picture me me in a shirt with "Texas" written on it. I thought it was just the name of the state. Much later did I realize that I was actually a T shirt fan of UTexas when I was 5. My folks just got me that shirt. No Aggies in the family so there's no history.

I think I've found that I'm anti-SEC. I was neutral when I saw a team I have hated (ND) beat the one SEC team that could have won a trophy. Tonight I truly enjoyed watching the last "Sec team" fail.

Two years in a row a SEC team didn't make the trophy game and it makes me happier than I would have imagined.

Umm, I believe I am…..both. In fact, the best sports weeks / weekends are those that either have A&M beating t.u or when A&M beats whomever and t.u. loses to whomever at the same time.

I also take great pleasure in seeing LSU, Arky, Green Baylor, ITT Tech Lubbock campus, and any team coached by Lane Kiffin lose. Especially if they are handed their own ass in the process.

I don't understand this question. No one ever asks this of sips, yet they behave the same way against us that we do against them. Not only that, but the t-shirt fans get in on the act.

They are followers not leaders. Every tradition they have has been taken from other schools. It started with the name Longhorn. The name of our yearbook. Our Coaches they've hired. The list is long.
When we had to seek counsel to stop ESPN from taking the 12th man, assuredly Sip would've tried to whorn it into their traditions.

Always Ags win and sips lose. Never one for the other. I heard from former Aggie Band members that Col. Brewer had a saying that the only thing that the band should ever be spelling on Kyle Field at halftime is **** tu. Bout sums it up.

I'm more of an Aggie, '70. Being more of an Aggie makes me 100% anti sip!!!!
My two favorite team on a football Saturday are the Fightin' Texas Aggies and whoever is playing tu!!
