Discuss. I think we would have been top 10 or better. Leonard's running ability fits Klein's offensive philosophy perfectly.

We already had a pretty deep quarterback, depth, chart, and he wanted to go somewhere where he had the potential to start and also compete for a national championship
Neither of those are gonna happen at Texas A&M

I thought it was reported Elko passed on him because it was assumed Conner was a superstar.
No, Elko's and ND's offense are both run heavy offense schemes. Have you watched any of the games or are you just trolling?John317 said:
Why didn't Leonard consider following Elko here? Should we have seen that as a negative reflection on Elko's offensive philosophies?

What do you mean you can't figure out where it came from. You're posting on the largest A&M hype site there is.Corn Pop said:BCR said:

That preseason hype was second to none…and I can't figure out where it was coming from. It was almost like the hype to prop up fans/donations took precedent over what had actually been shown…. When will we ever learn?

Yep, the zoo can't even make up revisionist history on that one. He was considered the next big thing and a dark horse 1st round draft pick after what was supposed to be a great season by him and his coming out party.RAB83 said:BCR said:

This. Not just Elko. Everyone thought that.

Neither are better than C-grade passing QBs.agspirit_09 said:Whatthefunyo said:

Go compare Reeds stats with Leonard's… in 150 fewer snaps Reed only had 500 fewer passing yds and 4 fewer tds passing and 300 fewer rush yds… Leonard threw just as many INTs as Reed this season.

why do the offensive plays of top teams look nothing LIKE our own plays?
I saw very few plays the entire year that made me go, "wow, that was a nicely designed play"
