I hope Ohio State beats Texas by double digits tomorrow.

ND overcame a lot to win this game. Lost starting LT and RG in the game. Their best defender got injured a few games ago and it out. Leonard was in the concussion protocol for the end of the first half. Flu in the locker room and PSU had 2 extra days to rest and prepare for this game.

I hope they hang 77 on tu.

Hindsight is 20/20, but it's a stretch to think anyone on this board could call it back then.

This was thrilling game that featured 3 ties and 3 lead changes. Notre Dame overcame a 10-0 deficit with 2:18 left in the 2nd quarter to defeat Penn State 27-24 to reach the National Championship game for the first time since 2012. Also, Marcus Freeman is the first Black and Asian coach to lead his team to the BCS or CFP National Championship Game. I noticed a few other trends.

1. Since an embarrassing 16-14 home loss to Northern Illinois on 9/7, Notre Dame has won 13 consecutive games, including 3 playoff games to improve to 14-1, a new school record.

2. Notre Dame snapped Penn State's 2-game winning streak to drop them to 13-3 (8-1 Big 10).

3. Notre Dame defeats Penn State for the first time since a 41-17 home win on 9/9/2006.

I like him a lot. Interesting story that his playing career ended abruptly with a heart diagnosis, and he immediately went into coaching without that sad period of trying to drag out a playing career.

ND got lucky (or made a wise decision) when LSU stole Kelly and they just promoted Freeman up.

He handles even the awkward questions well by trying to turn the attention and credit back on his players.

I didn't even watch the game. I thought the games were on Friday/Saturday.
Plus the ultimate National champion will be Notre Dame. There has never been a black head coach win a National championship…it's happening. ESPN and Vegas command it…

There is no way either of these teams beat OSU or Sips.
