So if he gets 1,000 yards next season. Is he at 1 by himself?
Jerry Rice is 5,403 yards ahead of 2nd place Larry Fitzgerald - amazing!!WC94 said:
Take it easy folks. Jerry Rice is the GOAT. Mike would have to have another 10 seasons of 1000+ yards to catch him.
He'll for sure be in the HOF, but probably not on the first ballot. If he has another 2-3 years of high level play, then maybe. Still a few WRs ahead of him that didn't make it in on the first ballot.ABATTBQ11 said:
That's incredible. He has to be a first round ballot HOFer. Another couple of years and he'll be top 10 all time in receiving yards. Another 3-4 and he's easily top 5 or top 3.

He isn't going to take over the top spot in any category, but this is where Mike ranks currently.
Receiving Yards:
Mike Evans (12,684) is 24th all time. He's 2,524 yards from 5th all time
He had 1,004 this season. He averages 1,153 a year.
(3) 842 yards seasons
or
(4) 631 yard seasons. If he stays healthy (and has the drive), he could go even higher on the list quite easily.
Receiving TDs:
Mike Evans (105 TDs) is 9th all time. He needs 23 Tds to break into the top 5.
He had 11 this year. Averages 9.5 a year.
That's doable for another 2 great seasons.
Or
(3) seasons of his average would put him at 133 TDs and 4th overall
He's 31. If he plays another 3-4 years, I could definitely see him getting up there
3 more years averaging his 75 receptions would get him top 5 as well.
