Big 12 horns?

I'm hoping for OSU vs. PSU because they both have constant coaching drama and this just adds to it for the one that reaches the championship but doesn't win (or even if you do win and then underperform the next year).

Who could take the least advantage of winning a NC for recruiting purposes? Penn State would be my guess and that is who I am cheering for. Truthfully I don't like any of the 4 teams but Penn State I dislike the least. tu and ND are historic cheaters who always had the NCAA in their pockets, remember ND had a book written about it and NOTHING came of it as punishment for that program. Michigan is my #2 team so there is my osu hate....so Penn State it is.

I want what is the absolute best for Texas A&M in everything. For everybody else in the SEC I want what is the absolute worst possible outcome.

College football will be together in Jerrible jones' hell hole in the metroplex. I look forward to the butteyes going apopolytic when the esipn refs try to screw them out of the game. I think all cfb teams have gotten worse. The game itself has gotten worse. Lots of bad football being played.

My love for A&M goes far beyond the success of the football team and is the reason I don't cheer for any other team. I watch a lot of college sports, but there is only one team that has my allegiance. My "hate" for tu is good spirited rivalry. I want them to lose every game, etc. However, my focus is more on A&M than any other school.

DGAS about the rest of the SEC, especially the backstabbers that let steer in.

I think rooting for a conference member just because they are in your conference is dumb regardless of who it is.

The whole "SEC, SEC, SEC" chant and conference allegiance is so "little brother" it's embarrassing. It is like admitting you are not one of the big dogs, but by golly you are one of their whipping boy tagalongs.

I was an SEC guy until the league went behind our back and deliberately kept us in the dark while getting tu and OU into the conference. How embarrassing to have your AD saying he knew nothing about it when the press broke the news. They don't give a damn about us. Moving to the Big 10 would mean many more games in colder weather, more travel, and probably would hurt us in recruiting kids in Texas and other Southern States. I agree the Big 10 is better than the SEC this year and could be as good as the SEC going forward (at least at the top), but what is in it for us to go to the Big 10? The only advantage I could see is IF the Big 10 became the undisputed best conference, it could be used in recruiting against Texas. That seems unlikely to happen. It would most likely hurt recruiting.

Sark says Ohio State is the best team, but the Horns are proud to be representing the SEC in the CFP and it's a heck of a conference.

I hope Ohio State throttles Texas and the Notre Dame or Penn State defeats Ohio State in the national championship game

Coach Ryan Day said the expanded College Football Playoff has given Ohio State the chance "to peak" ahead of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic against Texas on Jan. 10, with a trip to the national championship on the line.

We never should have joined the SEC.

Conference pride only became a thing when we wed our brand to the SEC upon first joining. Now that they let ou and tu in, do we really give a sheet about conference pride? With players barely having any school pride what has college ball really become?

SEC pride and loyalty is very strong among the original 10 charter member schools that have been there since the beginning, before Arkansas, South Carolina, TAMU, Missouri, tu, and Oklahoma joined. There's a feeling of the original "us vs. the new guys." The old school fans are the conference loyalists.

I don't think that the SEC has been all that welcoming nor have we ever been the beneficiary of conference pride. Sure, they were willing to co-op Johnny as one of "theirs" but I see fans of conference schools making fun of us more than complementing. I've never taken any pride in seeing my conference mates win. I hope they lose any game of consequence.

I stopped rooting for the SEC as soon as the news broke tu and OU were coming. All I care about is A&M; the rest can pound sand.
