Just reminds me of the seattle situation.

Are there any other situations where we have sold off traditions / other people mimic stuff we started?

He was referring an intentional 12th man on the field the last time the teams played in which it benefited the Ducks. A shennanigan that cost OSU the game.

No doubt. If somebody is publishing it and/or putting it on products and marketing material as a branding effort, that is probably an issue.

Saying "12th man" is not.
