They know how tough the defenses are and take the easy field goal kicks when they have them rather than go for fourth down. College coaches take more risks. Against a team like tu, you don't do that. It ultimately cost ASU the game.

If he had kicked some field goals against SF they would have been in the superbowl last year…

Have to play the situations some times. If Elko had kicked some field goals against texas we would have had the ball with a chance to win at the end.
