I mean last season they left out undefeated conference champ FSU. Why? Because it was about "putting the best teams in". ASU has no business being here. Neither did IU or SMU.

Who you play matters, and these last two playoff games are proving that. This isn't the NFL where schedules are fairly equal. College has a very uneven balance when it comes to strength of schedule.

All this teeth gnashing about blowouts is getting stale.

Have y'all forgotten that even with the 4 teams playoffs, not all of them were nail-biters and competitive?

Even in the NFL when there's actual some semblance of parity, blowouts happen in the playoffs.

Almost all of the playoff games and title games have been blowouts. That was the argument against expanding the playoffs since 4 teams was usually too many.

Not every single game.

There has not been 1 good game yet. Most competitive was last night PSU/Boise and that was only becuase PSU play calling was pathetic.

I don't think OM would have made it if they were in the b10. Probably yes to the ACC.

You are just proving my point. Before playoffs I said pick best Big 10 and SEC teams and that should be the true playoff. All the best teams are there. (With the exception that ND could make some noise but I don't think they can win it all).

You might be right...no way to prove it unfortunately.

Just the eye test and Ole Miss had both offense and defense. I think if Kiffin got them hyped for playoffs they could have made some noise. They easily beat Georgia and South Carolina when they were hyped up.
