Santucci and Hemphill represent young DCs that are up and coming, Elko protgs. Either would be a known quantity to Elko, an upgrade, but not necessarily the best available.

Dennis Allen - Aggie - would own the defense, restore the punishing style our defenses were once known for, and be an asset in overall game plan development with Elko…

How did you determine this "10x" measurement - seems like Allen hasn't held a college coaching job since the turn of the century. The coaching responsibilities and dynamics are vastly different in college vs the pros.

College football is essentially the minor league pros at this point. Professional skill set and motivation tactics more applicable in college than ever before. Professional skill set coach also has the credibility to bench a talented player when he decides to go tweety bird after the receiver he is covering drops the ball….

I don't have their exact current weight, but by my observation, Elko is about twice the coach Allen is. At least.

I like Dennis Allen but he has never been known as the best defensive play caller in the NFL. I'm not sure if half you guys actually believe what you write.
