My family is from Detroit. I hope they win the Super Bowl for many reasons. However, they haven't won anything. Let's wait until they win a Super Bowl, first.

Anything before the Super Bowl era is Irrelevant. This is easily their best year ever.

They are around middle of the pack in total d (20/32), #2 in rushing d (2/32) and almost last in passing d (31/32).

But they are also on 3rd and 4th string for the most part in their entire secondary.

They also lost their best defensive end and have been without their best linebscker for the last ~6 or so games, finally got him back last night.

I was 9 years old when the Lions won it all in 57'. Lived just north of Detroit. Always have been a fan. Froze my butt off at Briggs Stadium back in the day rooting for a team that just could not get it done. This year's team is the best ever. Period! After watching them for 67 years, I think I get to make that statement.

What an exciting team to watch and how can anyone denigrate what the lions have done this year. Rip the "Americas Team" logo off the cowboys and present it to the lions.

Dan Cambell reminds me of the great coaches of the1960's/70's like Lombardi, Halas, chuck Noll, Don Shula, Landry, etc. . HC's that had their own persona.

Dan Cambell is developing that, and it's pretty cool to watch. Never thought I would see that again in the NFL. Belichck had it with the goat TB, but is now in college football and of course the Walrus with the KC swifties..

The rest of the NFL teams are changing HC's like they are their underwear. Heck some team was interested in stealing Mike McCarthy from the cowboys? What the hell has the rest of the league come to? And in this era of everyone running the same chuck & duck backyard offenses that permeates football today. It's nice to see that The Lions have managed to do it better.

I'm hoping for the Lions vs Bill super bowl
