Does anyone have the way too early starting OL predictions? Every year we're good we have a great OL. Hoping next year we have another great OL.

Most were just hoping it didn't suck. It was clearly the weak link on the offense the last few years.

Really hoping Lamont Rodgers or somebody takes Crownover's spot at RT; think he was easily our worst O-line player this season

continuity typically leads to improvement especially at the offensive line position. we will have all 5 starters back and many have played together going on their third year. they will all be upper class men. next years line should take anothe solid step forward which will make them pretty damn good. they went from terrible to good tbis year i expect borderline great next year. and coaching isn't an issue any longer.

I'm guessing that Nabou will be back starting at center. Bisontis is your LG. Reed-Adams is RG. Zuhn LT. I'm not sure about RT. Probably Crownover, but that position needs an upgrade.

Some of the non starters returning may improve and challenge the starters.

There may be a good OL player in the April portal that we can recruit.

I hope they do challenge the starters. Competition is good. Supposedly, the coaches are very high on the true freshman o-linemen they brought in in the 2024 class.

Isn't the staff supposedly super-high on Ashton Funk? And what about some of the other OL we signed last year?

I just want to add another OT in the portal for the inevitable attrition we sustain. A bunch of seasoned starters with very young backups can become a problem real quick.

We need 2 solid OT's for next year .
As several have mentioned, Zuhn is better suited for guard and Crownover is marginal at RT .
Unfortunately, I don't see incoming freshman Rogers as a tackle either plus he will not be ready to play in year 1 .
We need to hit the next portal hard for at least 1 tackle that can start .

I've been saying for two years that Zuhn shouldn't be a starting left tackle. Maybe even three.

Zuhn has been one of the better tackles in the sec for 2+ years now. No way in hell is he moving to guard. Good lord guys

As others have noted, Zuhn has been our best o-lineman, and one of the best tackles in the SEC according to PFF grades.

And, our entire o-line has geaded out pretty decent for most of the year.

This group is a strength going into next year, especially if any of our current freshman or incoming freshman step up to be competent back ups.

Fatheree is out of eligibility, right? If so, Jimbo really screwed him by playing him in 5 games in 2023.
