Evan Stewart, WR, Oregon, 48 catches for 613 yards, 12.8 avg., 5 TD, played in all 12 regular season games.

Deuce Harmon, CB, SMU, 20 solo tackles, 31 total tackles, 1 INT, 8 PD.

Jardin Gilbert, S, LSU, 24 solo tackles, 45 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 INT, 2 PD.

Isaiah Raikes, DT, transferred to USC, then transferred to Auburn, 11 solo tackles, 15 tackles total, played in 7 games.

Juriente Davis, LB, Louisville, 3 solo tackles, 9 total tackles, played in 5 games.

Tony Grimes, DB, UNLV, 15 solo tackles, 20 total tackles, 5 PD.

Max Johnson, QB, UNC, 71 yards passing, 0 TD, 1 INT, injured and out for the year.

Jake Johnson, TE, UNC, 2 catches for 21 yards, 0 TD, played in 2 games.

Fernando Garza III, TE, Sam Houston, 1 reception for 2 yards, 0 TD, played in 1 game.

Sam McCall, DB, Grambling State, 1 solo tackle, I total tackle, played in 1 game.

Ethan Moczulski, K, Illinois, 1-2 field goals, 3 points, kicked in 2 games.

Raymond Cottrell, WR, first to enter portal after Jimbo was fired, transferred to Kentucky in the winter window February 2024 then transferred out of Kentucky in April 2024 to University of West Florida Argonauts, 3 catches for 23 yards, 0 TD, was not listed on the roster at the end of the 2024 season.

Jacoby Mathews, S, not listed on a team for 2024 season.

Update on a 2023 portal transferee, Tunmise Adeleye, DT, Michigan State, who quit the MSU team mid-season because the head coach was fired, landed on the Texas State Bobcats roster for the 2024 season and posted 3 solo tackles, 6 total tackles, 2 sacks in 5 games played.

Some pretty decent production

That note on tunmise is not surprising at all, entitled high star recruit had a quitters attitude the entire season when all those young D-linemen were brought in behind him. Was probably peeved that we gave big NIL to new recruits before him

Did Jake Johnson sit out after Max got hurt?

Production looks like he played half a game.

Stats show he had 1 catch in opening game, and 1 catch in a November game. Nothing newsworthy on him.

Of note on Moczulski, his 1 made FG was a 59 yarder for Illinois.

Thanks for catching that. I updated him to Illinois.

Diggs, Nolan, Overton, Stewart, and Gilbert are the only ones who would have upgraded this team. But some of them at spots where production wasn't lacking, so not sure it would have made much a difference. Evan Stewart probably the biggest difference maker for this team as he could get separation.
