As many have noted, Jay Bateman should be fired. He has an impressive resume, but he's too old and not performing to required standards. My opinion is that the best replacement would be Jordan Peterson. He's relatively young but that's GOOD, if he's properly supported by Coach Elko. The other defensive coaches are good to go.

O.C. Collin Klein is taking on too much responsibility as O.C. and quarterback coach. He needs to step back and do more thinking and managing and game planning. We need a new quarterback coach who can take a fresh look at all possible choices, especially to consider Jacob Zeno and Miles O'Neill as QB1 and QB2. Marcel Reed and other young quarterbacks should be red-shirted, possibly competing for QB3.

A) Reed can't be redshirted

B) Reed is qb1

Miles is younger than Reed and less experienced. Zeno should not be QB1.

Plus we are limited on coaches so if you want to hire a new QB coached you have to fire another coach.

Bateman needs to go. Our defense took a big step backwards and our secondary was BAD.

Peterson players may have been the most under performing on the team. Leaning far more to replace him than promoting him.

Who would you suggest for a defensive coordinator? Who assists Klein with coaching quarterbacks?

Very good point on Peterson. Our safety play was bad.
