Rene Girard's theory about mimetic desire of wanting what other people value or desire maybe the root cause of BAS. See a therapist for explanation.

Coach Saban has challenged fan bases to get behind the team, the coaches and players.

There is no reason to take the score of a bowl game too serious when starters and transfers are out.

I look at what Buzz Williams is doing with returning players and I see Mike Elko having similar results in keeping running back room full and getting behind Reed as the leader of the offense. He's held on to some talent that could have left, and lost very few of the top players. It might take year three before Reed hits his capability but I like his love for the game and desire to compete.

Aside from winning championships on a frequent basis there is no cure

That may have worked before NIL, but these guys play for money, not the fans.

There are hundreds of college football programs and less than a handful regularly win a natty.

This isn't unique to A&M

OP is right however there were some egregious tactical coaching mistakes down the stretch last night. When you see that repeatedly it wears on you and causes BAS flare ups.

The Las. Vegas meltdown will soon be forgotten but what led to it needs to disappear. Not saying heads need to roll but am saying learn from your mistakes

The man won 7 National Championships at Bama. Wow.... getting the fans behind the team, coaches, and players must have been such a struggle for him. Not to mention the burden put on the fans themselves. To support such a program must have been so taxing on their souls. God Bless all of them for the sacrifices they made. A true inspiration to fans everywhere.

Jesus, of course you have undying support when you pull off that level of success. To expect that from Aggies? Good god what color is the sky in your world man? We are on which decade of suckage? They want our support.... then they need to f'ing win. We've done our part it's the team and coaches that have failed again, and again, and again, and again.

Not trying to be ultra negative here but there are almost none that put the resources into it that we do and don't even have conference titles to show for it.

Funny as it sounds, i think the offense will improve next year. What I'm worried about is the abysmal shape of the defense.

Also, we have got to fix the injury issue. Everyone is constantly tapping their helmets and winded.

Roster was short last night . Probably the reason they were tired at the end of the game. Same for USC tho.

As a 50-yr. old, I was tired at the end of the game, but I'm surprised that college kids would be.

We've been told since spring practice and through the year that we would have the best strength & conditioning program in the country and that our team would be the "freshest" in the 4th quarter. Gosh, I haven't seen it - and seems to have been a problem during the last five games.

No, heads most definitely need to roll. Otherwise, we'll have these same insane posts again next year, and will say again, wait til next year…

The team was 7-1 heading into November & yesterday it was 24-7 late in the third

These reoccurring collapses are not coincidences... They are repeating results from dog**** coaching

Can Elko turn it around & stop sucking ass at his job? Yea probably, but thus far he's either stubborn, clueless, or both

This season isnt something to build on.... it's something that needs to be burnt to the ground

It can never be cured, there will always be some soft butthurt fans. It's one thing to be disappointed, let down, frustrated...with the season, program, or school, or all the above, and voice it maturely. It's another thing to be a grown man, incessantly whining and crying about everything, acting as if the whole world is crashing down, like we are 'cursed or some nonsense. A bunch of yall act like tshirt tsips, it's pathetic.
Because I'm Batman!
