I am a former student who never saw the Aggies get outscored at Kyle Field when I was a student. We then would get outscored in the Cotton Bowl, every year. After the SWC days we went to Fran, Sherman, Sumlin years…yep pretty bad. The saving grace was the year of Johnny Football. Then the era of Jimbo the used car salesman and him collecting $7.5M a year for some time.

I give zero money to the university/NIL and in my 30 years since graduating I have paid to watch the Aggies once at Kyle, once against Kansas St and a couple of Alamo Bowls.

The future of college football is changing and It's all about money. The player wants a cut/ coaches have already gotten a cut/ networks want a cut. If you are a passionate fan and want to make a difference give money to the university/NIL. These will be the folks that shall have the power and be able to hold people accountable. This is where the change will come. If you pay for something there is an expectation of accountability. You don't perform you get cut..see NFL. The next 5 years will be interesting in collegiate athletics.

The average fan will have very little power and voice. If you are like me and under zero circumstances giving money to athletics, I sit on the sidelines and watch and don't let it get to me. I refuse to give my hard earned money when the 979 area code calls.

Preach it!!!! Do not lie to yourself. Do not cheat yourself out of your limited valuable time. Do not let the less than average and mediocre program steal your money.

I'll buy the one ticket a year for a game as I've done for about a decade. No season tickets, no donations, no support beyond buying a scalped ticket every 12 months along with the beer I buy at Kyle. I can't comprehend those who actually spend big bucks on this garbage program. The notion of putting a dime into the wallet of people like Jimbo and Elko is to painful to think about.

Same. ^^^

Never understood the rationale for the average family spending thousands of dollars on tix and donations, but not enough to have any influence on the program. And then you still feel like a poor when you see the BMAs throwing their weight around at the hotel next to Kyle and the suites. Maybe I'm just jealous, but if you can't be a BMA, then that money could go towards a better ROI.

Seriously, many folks view a Saturday afternoon at Kyle Field with a reverence that is akin to a baptismal font. It's almost like the game is secondary. All you have to do is look at all the posts about the atmosphere, posts calling others out for not yelling loud enough, FTAB never losing a halftime, midnight yell, and so forth. Until people start voting with their feet and wallets, we will keep getting the same old same old. We, as a fan base and as a program, are not as cutthroat as we need to be.
I know NOTHING!!!!
