The 655 yards account for nearly 25% of all our passing yards allowed.

I don't remember Alabama crying when he entered the portal and went to A&M.

With all of the money that has been pissed off on this joke of a football program you would think we could a snag an assistant coach that can teach the fundamentals of a football position any ****ing position.

Im surprised by the stat that Dez was that bad all year. He was atrocious against usc but I thought he played decent the rest of the year. I feel 14 and 8 were the ones always getting burned this year. 14 got abused as a freshmen and 8 transferred in and looked horrible all year.

Sadly, I think Dez was our second best corner this year and is a freshman.

Hopefully one of the transfers or Chappell can take his spot next year.

Elko was bagging on the secondary but the run defense sucked too. Imo, we need lbs just as much as corners

The effort on the slant (game winning TD) was atrocious.
He was playing outside contain, which is likely what the defensive scheme was. No one can cover a slant when setting up to protect the sidelines.
cant use facts with these people

Elko was pretty transparent about this guys let's keep up now. He totally talked about how he could never run much zone because they would get torched not really ever understanding their spacing. Sometimes talent and football IQ and a feel for how a secondary fits on routes never comes together for whatever reason and that was the case this year. Thus the simple man coverages we were stuck with way too often.

I'm hoping that Bussey gets some looks @ CB this spring with the quality WR transfers that are coming in.

CB has been an issue for awhile now, especially the past 2 seasons.

For those obsessed with rankings- Dezz Rick's was a 5 star recruit. The lesson is, without good coaching and intrinsic drive to get better, stars don't mean anything because you need to continue to develop.

He is a special teams depth player, no more.

Your DB coach was an average DB. How is he supposed to know what to teach these players?

Again, reminder he was the 4th ranked CB in the portal last year. Sounds like bama knew he wasn't gonna play there.

No, facts are great. If that was the scheme then fine. The other fact is that the WR had zero resistance running that route and making the catch. He might as well have been out there alone.

Nah man….do you even TexAgs, bro?
Star count and recruit rankings are all that matter.
We should have multiple nattys with our "elite" rosters and talent composites.

We just need the right coaching.
