if our NIL investors were smart and treated this like a real investment they would quit investing in Kodak/ aggie football and invest in tesla, aggie basketball or baseball. i can't see a scenario where investments in football ever payoff so why not go be the best basketball and baseball school in america. at least we could finally win a natty in a a major male sport

Actually I do think the losers in our fanbase will continue to pay for this sh**. Donations will continue as usual and Kyle Field will be full again next year to watch another year of 6-6 football. This fanbase's head in the sand loyalty is why this will continue. We are being taken advantage of. The checkbooks need to close and the donations need to stop, and the leadership needs to be told that we won't tolerate this incompetence.

But we won't. We'll have 100k+ at every game next year to watch 6-6 ball.

I'm very curious how the NIL will go long term. ROI is purely entertainment. There is no way to recoup any losses when the team you paid for ends up sucking. I have to think that this will hurt the amount of money people are willing to pay, and not just at A&M. Think about Ole Miss dropping bags everywhere to go 9-3 like they always do. No way people continue to spend like crazy without the results

Spending the type of money our collective and fans spend supporting this program is borderline criminal. Colossal waste of resources that could be used for something that would actually be beneficial to the world. This program is a joke and doesn't deserve the support it gets from the fans.

How does tu do it? Rise from absolute ashes.

They were rotting in the BDF and were just a few seasons from being almost irrelevant.

Then, news of them moving to the SEC hits the recruiting trail and almost instantly they turned around winning the BDF and making the playoff.

Now, advanced after almost winning the SEC in year one.

They have money and facilities.

We replace and absolute ACE recruiter with a guy who brought us two dud coordinators and can't recruit.

I'm sure he is great buds with someone who matters tho.
