We are nothing but a place holder in the best conference in America. We are the speed bump to others winning seasons. We don't beat the teams we should and have rarely had any upsets since joining the conference. I dare you to tell me what exactly we have done since joining the SEC? Hell since we won the Big 12 title?

Are you serious? Next year's schedule is far tougher with most of our marquee games on the road. Coaches no longer have years to build a program because of NIL and the portal. There will be new players every year so you need an elite coaching staff to quickly get them in position to win. We don't have that and until we do 8-9 wins per season will be the ceiling.

Almost beat t.u.? Was that the game where we held them to 17 at home, scored a defensive touchdown and still lost by double digits? I am getting all the late season losses mixed up now.

Championships? As in plural? Haha. We won the B12 once. And even that was debatable given the nature of the touchdown in the 2OT against KSU. That easily could have been called in KSUs favor.

With our facilities and talent we would compete for championships (albeit hollow) in that conference..annually.

Bowl season is for chumps. The real prize is conference play and we were 7-1 at one point this year.

Elko knows what it takes now.

We were undefeated at one point too. Of course, what matters is where we are after all the games are played, that's what counts. And we ended up tied for 4th place and playing progressively worse.

Acting like we are special because we are in the SEC and the top teams in the SEC are doing well is so little brotherish. We are tag alongs.

I can generally accept a wide range of views on different topics, but I will NEVER comprehend the "I would rather be an average SEC team than win the Big 12 or ACC" mindset. I would take a Big 12 championship over this season 100 times out of 100 without a moment's hesitation.
