We're good at baseball, men's basketball, softball, volleyball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field.
Football is the very definition of mediocre, but we are good at *some* things.
How much hardware are we getting from all.these sports? I'm ticked off and frustrated as the next Ag. But you're not making the argument any better.
OP didn't ask in which sports we were national title caliber. He asked if we were good in any sports.
Also, we did win the women's tennis national title 7 months ago. We have lots of track and field national titles, we have a recent men's golf national title, and we were 2 innings away from having a baseball national title this year.
Again...football is textbook mediocre, but the athletic department as a whole isn't terrible.
Let me clarify to also include... what F'n sport do we win NC?
I'm sure the there is some answer that sucks weiner.
The answer to your question is *literally* in my post you quoted.

and then something happened. Can't remember what but I recall it was significant with respect to the future.agspirit_09 said:
Baseball… really? Is that a question? We were 1 game from winning the CWS.
possibly the first time I've ever seen someone incorrectly say alumnus instead of alumni. Usually it's the opposite. Thanks for the spice.BenFiasco14 said:

College sports would be best if they are high performance amateur leagues which contribute to the culture of schools and help fund research and education. To do that will require very strict rules on compensation as well as geographic recruiting limitations. I disagree that what you've said is the best option, but having semi-pro leagues funded by shadowy outside forces attached to state education institutions is the worst of all possible scenarios.gabehcoud said:
Good thing about NIL is that sports will be semipro/minor league where they belong and schools can be about education again.
