LMAO. Klein barely had over 300 yards until the final drive. Klein is dogsh*t.

I would still take Klein over Bateman and Donut (Elko) anytime and all the time, even though Klein is not a world beater himself. Game was more on the defense and 31 points is enough to win for most teams with any pulse of a defense

If Elko does not take control of the defense - like Clark Lee did at Vandy - and then go get Clausen mentor Kline out of his Snyder ways we are doomed. We can now all go watch TU, OSU, ND, and Penn St be great as we try to figure out how to compete with the big boys. Reality suck ags...

This had the same look as some of Duke's games last year. Actually the whole season is similar. I haven't been impressed by the coordinators but, it feels like the 1-4 finish is more on Elko than anyone else.

If our offense could consistently move the ball and burn some clock, our defense would look a lot better.

They were attacking Dezz Ricks the entire last drive. I called the touchdown. 2 receivers, 2 corners (1 of them being Ricks) at the top of the screen. No safety help. If I were USC I would have done the same thing.

This was my concern with Elko. He never finished a season well. There were excuses, sure. Glad we fired Jimbo with no real plan to replace him.

You are wasting time if you want to grade a defense on a game like this one. Bowl games defenses are dead in the second half bc they have zero depth.

After getting up 24-7, the offense went conservative until the last drive in which we scored easily. That's on Elko bc I assume he told Klein to run clock.

If Elko coaches the game aggressively on offense like he told Klein to do on the last drive the entire second half, we win the game easily.

They're not gone already. I don't think they're going anywhere. Neither is Elko.

We are in a bad spot. A very bad spot. Things should not be like this. USC is a bad team.

If Elko chose those two and hasn't had a big enough role in fixing and directing this team then it doesn't matter who comes next. He picked those two to run his offense and defense. If that's how well he evaulates and will be who he retains, there's a GIANT problem (that starts at those who hired Elko and fired Jimbo without a better replacement)!
