I do have a NIL ?

These portal players are chasing other opportunities that seem to be based on 'The Payday' they are able to get.

My question is this, " Do coaching staffs have a list of NIL sponsors that they offer individual players"?

If so, is it the coaching staff, or a private marketing firm that is in charge of creating a list of NIL offers? Who manages the funds, makes payroll, all of the legal contracts that are needed for pay a football player to play at a particular university.

Does the university have to provide a full scholarship to attend if that football player earned a certain amount?

It seems like a crazy amount of legal and contracts that Ned to be spun up in a short period of time.

I basically do not understand who manages all of the nuances between NIL DEAL> Player<Coaching staff.

AmpliflyU

They handle everything from matching athletes w/ direct NIL payments, negotiate NIL agreements, 1099 reporting, tax preparation, marketing and social media management, etc.

However, I'm guessing the big money NIL is negotiated separately by player agents.

I'm guessing all D1 schools have something like AmplifyU.

My question about AmplifyU is can professional services such as CPA's and Lawyers write off their time as In-kind donations?

The short version is the student athletes can have an agent to negotiate NIL deals but NOT WITH MEMBER INSTITUTIONS.

The member institution can't disappear a contribution to the student athlete that is a professional service benefiting the student athlete. The agent can roll those services in but not for small fry. It is a cost of business for the agent or the student athlete. It it's non-employee compensation (1099-NC since 2020.)

AmplifyU collects the data and might manage the payment to prove it his accurate per the contract. It represents it is a single 1099-NC for NIL deals they "expedite" (my term not theirs.)

"A&MPLIFY EXCHANGE
WHAT IS THE A&MPLIFY EXCHANGE?

The A&Mplify Exchange is a student-athlete NIL business registry, custom-designed for businesses, donors, former students, and any other interested NIL dollars wishing to connect with Texas A&M student athletes. Registered businesses can search, filter and initiate conversations with Texas A&M student-athletes to discuss an NIL deal. Once the NIL deal between a registered business and the respective Texas A&M student-athlete is completed, the business will use the A&Mplify Exchange to create a transaction that will produce a direct payment to the student-athlete (without any transaction fee) and automate a disclosure to the Texas A&M INFLCR Verified Compliance Ledger. Texas A&M and its staff will not be involved in any student-athlete NIL deals. All transactions within the A&Mplify exchange are consolidated into one 1099 at the end of the year for easier tax reporting purposes for registered businesses and athletes"

I could speculate how this works but I won't.
