Yep, it was kinda insidious how it wormed it way into the system.

First, it was allowing the dance team on the field. Next thing you know we have a high school style flag corps and de facto female cheerleaders. Just like everybody else.

Next we have to make it more attractive to recruits, so we get a DJ, fireworks and play rap music at the start of games. Just like everybody else.

Nobody wants to sit in the stands and visit anymore, see we set up tailgating facilities. Just like everybody else.

With the stadium redesign, the Corps can no longer really march in, but who cares as we're all out in the parking lot tailgating anyway. Just like everybody else.

Band gets sidelined during games by the scoreboard sound system and DJ, but it's want the kids want, so who cares. Just like everybody else.

Funny how we come just like everybody else while telling everybody we're not.

Vikings made it to Japan before most of the world.

There is not one thing unique about our AG DJ gameday environment. If you listened to that Notre Dame playoff game, it might as well have been played at Kylie field. Exact same music and songs were played the entire game.

Even played that same music mix of free-bird and some other songs that the Aggie dj has been playing lately.

I was expecting the announcer to announce "another Fightin' Texas Aggie first down" at one point.
