They actually won the semifinal game vs Michigan.
So them getting in even though they got destroyed by Georgia it was somewhat validated

So if Miami, ol Miss, Bama, hadn't crapped the bed at the end of the year they would be in.

Probably will get higher quality teams most years

Here's my frustration. The committee is supposed to be smarter. They've got a full season of data. They should be digging in and seeing things like SoCarolina being healthy and strong at the end of the season. Instead, they regurgitate rankings and put an inordinate value on pure wins. No sense of the fact that competition matters. Just dumb.

Isn't Penn State an at-large bid? They have scored points…

Play 10 games. Let 64 teams in. Play 16 games to championship. Less games than now.

Stopping at 12 let the committee have the power to choose, make it 24 get rid of conference champ auto bye's and make it the final 24 teams and top 8 get a bid. Get rid of all the other bowl games


FBS is 1/3 the size of the Basketball and Baseball selections and yet both sports have figured out how to have a true National Champ. Football is the one sport that isn't run that way.

It was more like Michigan beat a really good Michigan team by turning the ball over about a half dozen times.

Without all those turnovers, Michigan would've put up 60 on TCU just like Georgia did.
