Texas was 91st in the country in penalties against us this year, I don't think there's a conspiracy against us but the idea that we constantly get the red carpet treatment from the refs is just demonstrably not true.

After Clemson led Texas 7-0 with 8:14 left in the 1st quarter, Texas outscored Clemson 38-17 during the rest of the game to defeat Clemson 38-24. As a result, Texas won a playoff game for the first time in two tries to advance to the CFP Quarterfinals against Arizona State in the Pearch Bowl. I noticed a few other trends.

1. Texas has improved to 12-2 (7-1 SEC) and is now 12-0 against opponents not named Georgia.

2. Texas is 24-4 since the beginning of last year.

3. Texas has won 12 games for the 2nd straight year, and 11 of their 12 wins were by 10+ points each. The only exception was Texas' 27-24 road win over Vanderbilt on 10/26.

4. ACC Champion Clemson finished 10-4 (7-1 ACC), but 0-3 (0-1 neutral, 0-1 home, and 0-1 away) against the SEC this year. 2 of those 3 losses were by 14+ points each.

No doubt. Only Auburn had less penalties for less yards called against its foes than Texas in the SEC this year.
