Looks pretty solid, IMO

Obviously, we will be thin in some places, but I expect us to come out and put on a good show versus USC.

Also- is there a more polar opposite pairing than Noah Thomas and Ernest Campbell?

Is this from A&M? Like it isn't some random posters depth chart, right?

Biggest thing that makes me take it with a grain of salt is having Lee and Ricks listed as "or" on the same CB row, and then having Mayes/Thomas as the other.

Mayes has been at nickel for a while, and I would have bet that Ricks/Lee are your starters.

Other interesting notes:

  • This confirms that Dealyn Evans is at 3 tech. I had heard that, but never seen it listed anywhere.
  • Extremely light at DE, both in weight and depth. We need 2 in the portal. Same with DT.
  • I have to take it with a grain of salt that Deshields is an "or" with Scooby. Maybe Sanford, but Scooby is your starter above those two almost for sure.

Biggest players I am interested in seeing in this game:

Dealyn Evans, Solomon Williams, Ashton Bethel-Roman, and Rueben Owens. All 4 could play big roles next year.

Tired of hearing about a player who wasn't committed to the work ethic required to help the team or himself. What a missed opportunity that he had with his skill level and blew it. We need better locker room guys, he's part of the Jimbo culture problems that Elko is having to fix.

Maybe so, but again, the guy stayed with one program for 5 years. I'll take the good with the bad, and say that's a rarity these days.

Now, the lack of production? We have to be better moving forward. We haven't been good since Mooses true freshman year.

Exactly. basically this guy was just taking up a roster spot. nothing against him, but a big lack of productivity.
